Abdelhak Ben Idder arrives at Le Gym
Abdelhak Ben Idder is an Aiglon. The 19-year-old centre-back joins from Paradou.
The Algeria U-21 international enjoyed a solid 2025-26 season with 25 appearances, 22 in the top flight. “I’m very happy to join OGC Nice, a club that we follow a lot in Algeria and which has already brought in players from Paradou. I hope to be able to keep improving and show my qualities at the highest level.”
“He’s got a promising profile,” said the club’s Sporting Director Roger Ricort. “He has shown his maturity on the ball and in his reading of the game, despite his youth. As it’s his first experience of playing in Europe, we mustn’t get ahead of ourselves. He’ll be part of the elite group first of all before we see him moving up to the pros.”
“We had the chance to sign him, so we went for it,” concluded President Maurice Cohen. “We are going to allow him to settle in and play calmly, giving him the best support we can so that he can flourish here. We would like to welcome him to Nice!”
