After six months and 16 appearances with Fiorentina, Mattia Viti is heading to Sampdoria Genoa (16th in Serie B), where he has been loaned without an option to buy for the second half of the 2025–26 season.

The 23-year-old central defender has made 12 appearances for the Gym, scoring one goal.

Developed and given his first professional minutes at Empoli before joining Nice in the summer of 2022, Viti is set to experience another loan spell, following stints at Sassuolo (2023–24), Empoli (2024–25) and Fiorentina.
