Welcome Juma Bah

Juma Bah (19) is an Aiglon! The defender arrives from Manchester City on a season-long loan.

After Gabin Bernardeau, OGC Nice have their second signing at the start of this transfer window. A 1.95m defensive recruit, well known to L1 fans, having played in France for the last 6 months. “We've been following his progress together for some time, and we found him to be a very good performer during his time at Lens," explains Florian Maurice, Le Gym's sporting director. “The numbers show this (see below). Juma is a young player with great potential and, importantly, we think he can quickly adapt to the coach's ideas."

“He will strengthen an area where we had two major injuries at the end of last season," says President Rivère. “There's an alignment between our project and his ambitions. Juma joins the group at the start of pre-season, which is ideal for quickly integrating and performing well."

A Sierra Leone international (2 caps), Juma Bah arrived in European football in Spain. After making his name with Valladolid, with whom he exploded into the Spanish top flight in the first half of last season, he signed for Manchester City in the winter of 2025, before being loaned out to Lens and then Nice, "a team I know well from my time in L1," he explains. “There's quality and experience in every position. The coach has very precise, attacking ideas, which all the players stick to, including the defenders. That was a major factor in my choice. I'm proud to be joining this club and this project. There are some big dates coming up very early in the summer. It's going to be an exciting season. It's up to me and us to be ready!”
