Le Gym 3rd before Marseille trip

With their 4-1 win at Brest on Sunday evening, Marseille moved back ahead of Nice into second place in the Ligue 1 table.

Le Gym will head to the Stade Velodrome next Sunday (kick-off 8.45pm CET) a place behind OM following the weekend's action in France. Held at Montpellier (0-0), Christophe Galtier's side have the same number of points (50) and goal difference (+17), so OM have the edge on goals scored (43 to 38).

Rennes' win at Lyon (2-4) and Strasbourg's victory over Monaco (1-0) mean the Bretons are just a point off the top three, Strasbourg are three points away. Lille, in sixth, are seven points distant.
