OGC Nice condemns in the strongest possible terms the serious incidents that took place last night in Paris. The club considers such behaviour to be utterly unacceptable and completely at odds with the values and principles it upholds on a daily basis.

Nothing can justify such behaviour, which tarnishes the image of football as well as that of all the supporters who had come to enjoy the Coupe de France final.

OGC Nice calls on everyone to act responsibly and keep a cool head so that such incidents do not occur again. A final must remain a moment of passion, celebration and shared enjoyment, in an atmosphere of safety and respect for all.
