Ajaccio - Nice
Andy Delort, who else?
The matchwinner at Ajaccio with a stunning strike that takes him to three league goals this season, Andy Delort tallied 65% of your votes to romp over the line as Aiglon of the Match.
Andy Delort has had that happy knack of finding the back of the net since late last season. The experienced forward has scored with eight of his last ten shots on target in Ligue 1. His goal at Ajaccio on Sunday is his fourth of the season in all competitions and and first from open play following three penalties (Strasbourg, Lille & Cologne).
OGC Nice have scored 28 league goals this calendar year, and Delort has got 14 of them. Khephren Thuram is the next-highest contributor with three while Kasper Dolberg, Amine Gouiri and Justin Kluivert have two each.
Delort came through the AC Ajaccio youth academy and made his Ligue 1 debut there, but this was his first goal in what was his second appearance against the Corsican club.
On his Rouge-et-Noir debut, Ross Barkley came in second by polling 17%. The midfielder, who struck a post seconds after coming off the bench, completed 100% of his passes in the final third, including the one that led to Nicolas Pepe also hitting the woodwork.
