He arrived from Aston Villa in the summer of 2023, on loan with an option to buy. This reflected the objective of both club and player. And as soon as it was presented, the tone was set. The idea was for Morgan Sanson to become a long-term fixture at Le Gym.

With two days to go before the end of the 2023-24 season, and with the Aiglons assured of a top-five finish, the loan became a transfer. The number 11 is now committed until 2027.

Experienced and indestructible, “Momo” made 32 appearances - scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists - in his first season at Le Gym... and showed a champion's mentality in his second. After suffering a serious foot injury at the start of the season, he worked hard to get back to the top level. And his efforts have paid off! On his first start of the season, on April 25, 2025, he scored twice at the Parc des Princes, in a magnificent victory for Les Aiglons (J31, 3-1). A week later, he scored the only goal of the match against Reims (J32, 1-0) to seal victory for Le Gym. A decisive contribution to the end of the championship, which the team is approaching with confidence, finishing in 4th place in L1.
