Following an injury yesterday against Le Mans,  Antoine Mendy underwent some tests which unfortunately confirmed a torn ACL in his left knee.

It’s a painful discovery for Antoine who has grown a lot at Le Gym, making it through the ranks before achieving his dream of wearing the red and black shirt in the first team. It’s a story that has been built over a number of years, characterised by a certain determination and commitment to the club.

Today he embarks on a new path, it will be long, sometimes difficult and it will require a lot of patience, but Antoine will never be alone on that path. His teammates, the backroom staff, the club employees, the fans: the whole of the Gym family will be behind him to encourage him during the difficult times, celebrate the little wins and, when the moment comes, to welcome him back onto the pitch.
