Nice v. Benfica: Ticketing information

Eight years after our unforgettable away-goals win over AFC Ajax, a different European heavyweight is now standing between OGC Nice and the UEFA Champions League play-off round. In just under two weeks’ time, at 21:00 CET on Wednesday 6th August, Les Aiglons will host SL Benfica for the first leg of an unmissable midsummer double header, with the second leg taking place in Portugal at the same time a week later.

Considering the Allianz Riviera’s new capacity limit of 27,000, the hunt for tickets to this match will be an intense one. Furthermore, due to necessary measures related to the sanctions imposed by UEFA on SL Benfica – namely a ban on selling tickets for the club’s next away European fixture – tickets to this game will only be made available to individuals who have already purchased an Admission Ticket (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions for the Sale of OGC Nice Match Tickets) for at least one of Les Aiglons’ fixtures during a previous season. Those who are eligible can purchase up to four tickets, bearing in mind that prices start at a particularly attractive rate of €12.00 given the high-stakes nature of this encounter.

UP TO 50% OFF FOR SEASON-TICKET HOLDERS

While our Ligue 1 season-ticket holders will benefit from a 10% discount on tickets for this 3QR first leg, our Europe Pass holders can enjoy a whopping 50% discount on any additional tickets as a reward for their loyalty and commitment. Meanwhile, tickets for children aged between four and 11 years old can also be bought at reduced prices.

the europe pass: our bargain of the summer

The Europe Pass includes all qualifiers (i.e. the game at home to Benfica plus a potential play-off round match) as well as the four UCL or UEL league-phase games that will take place at the Allianz Riviera starting in September, making for a total of five to six matches depending on Les Aiglons’ progress. This pass will remain available to purchase over the next few days, while those who have renewed their season tickets for 2025–26 without activating their Europe Pass have until next Monday (28th July) to do so. It’s also not too late to purchase a new season ticket comprising both Ligue 1 and European fixtures.
