Welcome to Jérémie Boga

Jérémie Boga has signed for OGC Nice. The 26-year-old winger joins from Atalanta Bergamo.

On 16 December, he scored Atalanta's last goal at the Allianz Riviera. Jérémie Boga is now preparing to discover the Plaine du Var stadium in the red and black shirt for the first time. "Jérémie was our priority", explains Florent Ghisolfi, Le Gym's Sporting Director. "He's going to bring all of his talent and creativity to the team. And at the age of 26, he's coming of age to deliver his full potential. His personality and attitude will allow him to fit in very quickly with the team and the club." "People come to the stadium to see players like him," adds President Rivère. "I hope that Jérémie will be able to express all of his talent with us, that he will help the team and that he will bring smiles to the faces of the supporters."

Born in Marseille, Boga trained at Chelsea. He went out on loan on several occasions to Rennes, Granada and Birmingham, before being sold to Sassuolo in the summer of 2018, where he burst onto the scene with real consistency. Loaned to Atalanta in the winter of 2022, he signed for the club the following June. In Italy, Boga played 149 games and scored 22 goals: "I felt it was the right time for me to come back to France and, in France, the project that excited me was that of OGC Nice," said the player. "I'm completely in tune with what the directors have told me. The discussions I've had with Francesco Farioli, who I know very well from Sassuolo, made my choice at lot easier. The club is ambitious, and I am too. I am coming here to perform very quickly and to help the team to go as far as possible."
