After three seasons with OGC Nice and two loans during the 2022-23 season, Kasper Dolberg is leaving the Côte d'Azur for good.

The Dane who had been based in Nice since 2019 when he arrived in the final days of the summer transfer window, has signed for Anderlecht, the side that finished 11th in the Jupiler League last season. Dolberg arrived on the Côte d'Azur from Ajax at the age of 21, and enjoyed a fine first season with Le Gym.He scored 11 goals in 23 Ligue 1 appearances, including a brace that will live long in the memory of Nice fans in a home derby against Monaco (2-1, 7 March 2020), which ensured qualification for the Europa League and earned him the Aiglon of the Season award from the Red and Black fans.

His next two seasons in Nice ended with 6 and then 7 goals in all competitions. In 2022-23, the Viking was loaned out to Sevilla for the first half of the season, and then to Hoffenheim.
