Fixtures: An intense run of matches ahead

Following the international break, OGC Nice will begin a very intense run of matches, which will take them through to the end of the first part of the league campaign. Discover three things you need to know about Les Aiglons' upcoming schedule. 

44 DAYS, 11 MATCHES

Les Aiglons will return to Ligue 1 action at the Parc des Princes on Saturday 1 October (Matchday 9, kick-off at 9pm). The starting point for a sprint that will last a month and a half. 11 encounters in 44 days await, with a trip to the Groupama Stadium in Lyon to bring the run of matches to a close (Matchday 15, weekend of 13 November). After the trip to the capital of the Gaules, Ligue 1 will break for a month and a half due to the World Cup in Qatar. Ten days after the final in Doha, Le Gym will be back in L1 action at the Allianz Riviera, against RC Lens (Matchday 16, Wednesday 28 December).

5,000 KM TO TRAVEL

4 Conference League matches and 7 L1 outings await the Niçois during the next month and a half. After the Parc des Princes, they will travel to the Czech Republic to face Slovácko (Matchday 3, kick-off at 6.45pm). The Conference League group stage will continue with two consecutive home matches (Matchday 4 Slovácko, Matchday 5 Partizan Belgrade) and will come to a close with the trip to Cologne (Matchday 6, on Thursday 3 November). 

On the domestic front, four away trips (Paris, Auxerre, Lorient, Lyon) and three home matches (Troyes, Nantes, Brest) are on the cards.

In total, Les Aiglons will travel almost 5,000 km in the next six weeks of competitive football.
