Which Aiglons have been used the most by Christophe Galtier during the 2021-22 season?

TODIBO ON TOP

The most-used player this season is Jean-Clair Todibo. With 3,476 minutes played across all competitions, the centre-back embodies the most fundamental element of Les Rouge et Noir’s system as well as being one of the key figures in the joint-best defence in Ligue 1 alongside PSG, with just 36 goals conceded. Incidentally, defensive solidity goes hand in hand with stability, as Walter Benítez (3,330 minutes played) and Dante (3,232 minutes played) are the two other players who have been selected the most by Coach Galtier. With 37 full appearances in 38 games, Benítez is also the man with the most league minutes under his belt.

THE EXCEPTIONAL GOUIRI

Just one player from the current squad has played in every single game of the 2021-22 season: Amine Gouiri, with 43 games (38 in Ligue 1 and five in the Coupe de France), 3,202 minutes, 12 goals and 12 assists to his name.

Le Gym’s no. 11 is also one of 12 players, be they goalkeepers or outfield players, to have taken part in all 38 league games.
