In his pre-match press conference, Christophe Galtier gave an update on his squad ahead of the final game of 2021 against Lens on Wednesday at 21:00 CET.
“There’s some uncertainty regarding Alexis [Claude-Maurice]’s participation [in the match against Lens]. His previous injury is giving him some slight pain,” the coach explained first of all. “Andy [Delort] wasn’t in training [this morning]; he was working indoors. He’s had some problems with his back following the match against Cholet [on Sunday in the Coupe de France]. After his goal, he asked to come off quite quickly due to a sharp pain in his back. It was still very painful for him this morning, so we’ll wait until tomorrow [Wednesday] morning before we make a decision.”
