Match report
Le Gym held to a draw by Paris FC (1-1)
Les Aiglons shared the points with Paris FC this Sunday at the Allianz Riviera in the Ligue 1 Matchday 6 fixture, the match finished 1-1. Sofiane Diop opened the scoring at the end of the first half before Jean-Philippe Krasso equalised in the dying moments of the game.
After conceding a late equaliser, Nice will no doubt be left with regrets this Sunday. Facing Paris FC on Matchday 6 of Ligue 1, Franck Haise's men looked set to secure their third win of the season. However, they were ultimately caught out in injury time with a penalty conceded by the unfortunate Moïse Bombito, who handled the ball unintentionally in his own box. The situation was all the more cruel given that the Canadian international, starting for the first time in the 2025-26 season, had played a solid game, as evidenced by his superb one-on-one intervention against Ilan Kebbal (64').

LIVELY CHO SETS UP DIOP
Much like the Montreal native, several long-injured Aiglons made their first starts of the season. Ali Abdi played the first half on the left wing, while Mohamed-Ali Cho came off twenty minutes before the end of the game.
A live wire on the right wing, the 21-year-old forward stood out on several occasions with his lightning-fast acceleration. But it was with his passing that ‘Momo Cho’ made the difference, finding Sofiane Diop perfectly after cutting back inside. Diop didn't hesitate in beating Obed Nkambadio with a fine low shot, opening the scoring at the end of the first half (1-0, 40').

In control of the match, the Rouge et Noir came close to doubling their lead shortly afterwards, but the Parisian goalkeeper denied Jonathan Clauss, whose first-time shot from Cho's fine cross looked destined to find the back of the net (45').
A RESOLUTE PARISIAN GOALKEEPER
Charles Vanhoutte and his teammates struggled as the minutes ticked by, losing Hicham Boudaoui to injury (78'), while Kojo Peprah Oppong and Sofiane Diop finished the match through gritted teeth. The visitors took advantage of this and became increasingly dangerous, as shown by Willem Geubbels' double chance, which was well saved by Yehvann Diouf (55').
The axe finally fell on the Azuréens at the very end of the match, with a penalty. Wrongfooted, Diouf was unable to stop Krasso's shot (1-1, 88'). Next? Nine minutes of added time, which saw a Jansson header find Nkambadio's gloves. Clauss sent a final shiver down the spines of the Parisian outfit with a curling free kick that almost found the net (90+9'). But it was all in vain.
