Biography

Myziane Maolida

Born in 1999, and comfortable playing in all forward positions, Myziane started at Lyon, whilst also being a regular in the French youth teams. Fast, technical and a good finisher, he played 13 L1 games and 6 Europa League games in 2017-18, scoring 2 goals, for OL, with whom he started out as a pro.
The forward joined OGC Nice in August 2018. He wore the shirt for the first time at Caen, 5 days after his arrival (1-1). Hampered by injuries, he completed his first season on the Côte d'Azur with 14 games and 3 assists in Ligue 1. He also scored a goal in his only appearance in the League Cup (a 3-2 victory over Auxerre in the round of 16).
In his second season on the Mediterranean coast, the Paris native played in 22 league games, including 18 starts. On 30 November 2019, he unlocked his Ligue 1 account for Nice (3-1 victory over Angers). In that same match, he also provided one of his two assists of the season.
The following season, Myziane played 25 games, including 15 as a starter, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
He left OGC Nice on 31 August 2021 to join Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.
