Medical update before Nice - Leverkusen

The latest from the treatment room ahead of the arrival of Bayer Leverkusen on the Côte d'Azur for Thursday's UEFA Europa League Matchday 5 encounter (kick-off 9pm CET).

Hassane Kamara is available again, but Pierre Lees-Melou and Kasper Dolberg join Youcef Atal and Dante on the sidelines. "Kasper returned from international duty with COVID-19," explained coach Patrick Vieira in Wednesday's press conference. "He's also injured, he has an adductor problem. He's recovered from COVID, but we're treating his injury. He has started running on his own with a fitness coach. He'll rejoin the rest of the squad at the start of next week."

"Pierre suffered an ankle injury during a game," Vieira added. "He needs to undergo more tests, but he's unavailable for this match."
