A very special training session

A very special training session took place at the training centre last week. The club organised a work seminar with INEOS Football, the entity that brings together all the group’s football activities.

At the end of the meetings it was time to hit the playing field. The delegation didn’t hesitate to get the boots on and knock the ball around with the professional playing squad, Sir Jim Ratcliffe first and foremost!

By his side there was Andy Currie and John Reece (co-owners of INEOS), his son George (INEOS Hygienics), Bob Ratcliffe (CEO INEOS Football), Rob Nevin (Chairman INEOS Sports) and also Florence Bardot (finance director of Lausanne-Sport) and, of course, President Rivère.

It will never be known who was the best in front of goal hitting the crosses from Souleymane Cissé (Lausanne-Sport sporting director), in the penalty shootout against Benitez and Cardinale, or at foot-tennis. However, the trophy held proudly aloft, does offer a big clue…
