As the pro squad begins pre-season training, OGC Nice is happy to announce the coaching staff that will accompany head coach Olivier Pantaloni for the 2026-27 campaign.

The Club has assembled an experienced coaching team around the Aiglons’ new manager – a team that complements one another and remains true to the identity the Club aims to uphold. With a mix of familiar faces and new arrivals, each member will contribute their expertise towards a shared goal: to support the squad’s development and create an environment for success.

Frederic Gioria will be one of Olivier Pantaloni’s assistant coaches. A former captain of the Gym and a former member of the professional coaching staff, he will bring his experience and in-depth knowledge of OGC Nice to the team.

Working alongside him, Erwann Le Postec is reunited with Olivier Pantaloni, whom he has worked with since 2024. Their complementary skills and shared working methods will ensure valuable continuity in the management of the sporting project.

Another assistant, Cédric Varrault, is also an iconic figure at the Club. Having come through the ranks at the Gym, a former captain of Les Aiglons and already a member of the coaching staff in recent seasons, he will continue to bring his high standards and knowledge of the club to bear.

Stéphane Cassard will continue in his role as goalkeeping coach. As he enters his third season at the Club, he will draw on his knowledge of the Nice environment to support the development of the Rouge et Noir ‘keepers.

Finally, Nicolas Dyon is the new fitness coach. Having previously been at the Gym in the early 2000s and again during the 2020–21 season, he returns to a club he knows well, having demonstrated his expertise in every project he has been involved in.

Led by Olivier Pantaloni, this coaching staff will be tasked with supporting Les Aiglons on a day-to-day basis, guided by a clear vision: to build a demanding, united squad that remains true to the values of OGC Nice.

The first-team squad returned to the Training and Development Centre on Wednesday to officially kick off preparations for the 2026–27 season.
