First pro contract for Mantsounga

Le Gym is delighted to announce Brad-Hamilton Mantsounga has signed a first professional contract with the club, marking a significant step in this homegrown talent’s career and showing the work and commitment of the Rouge-et-Noir youth academy.

A promising young defender, Brad-Hamilton Mantsounga signed his first professional contract with OGC Nice on Wednesday. It’s a major step in the player’s progress at Le Gym and confirms the club’s desire to give homegrown talent opportunities.

“I’m very happy and very proud today,” said the OGC Nice U19 team captain. “Becoming a professional has been my goal since I was very young. The youth academy has helped me a lot, and I’m aware that this is just a step. I want to thank the club, my coaches, my family and all those who have helped me along the way. Now, I want to continue working to reach the top level and repay the faith the club has shown in me.”

Born in Nice and having come through the club’s youth academy, Brad-Hamilton Mantsounga made his first-team debut in the Coupe de France tie against Nantes on 11 January this year. Since, he has taken part in five first-team games (2 in the Coupe de France, 2 in the Europa League & 1 in Ligue 1).

Solid and committed, he has established himself as one of the leading players of his generation, standing out for his determination and constant progress.
