Nice 3-3 Lorient
Louchet, Boudache, Clauss: 3 impressive individual statistics
Each of them had a direct impact on the match against Lorient (3-3). Statistical spotlight on three decisive Aiglons.
Louchet joins Wahi and Diop
Since making his professional debut in the 2023-24 season, Tom Louchet has become accustomed to playing in a variety of positions due to his versatility. But since Claude Puel took over, the Gym academy graduate has established himself as a regular and effective member of the attacking trio.
Opta stat: "After scoring a brace, Tom Louchet has three goals in Ligue 1 in 2025/26, all scored in 2026, including the one against Nantes on 25 January. He has now scored more goals in six L1 matches this year than in his first 47 in the top flight since his debut in October 2023 (two)."
Louchet now has as many goals since the start of the calendar year as Elye Wahi and Sofiane Diop (three).
His record in all competitions as a professional: 76 matches, seven goals and four assists.
Boudache, six years after Thuram
Opta stat: "With his first Ligue 1 goal, Kaïl Boudache is the first Nice player born in 2006 or later to score in the top flight. At 19 years and 252 days, he is the youngest player to score for OGCN in the top flight since Khéphren Thuram in October 2020 (19y 191d)."
The home-grown striker, who has made seven appearances since the start of the year, had previously found the net with the senior team, sparking a comeback against Montpellier in the Coupe de France round of 16 (3-2).
Jonathan Clauss' consistency
Coming on at half-time, along with Boudache, Jonathan Clauss quickly made his mark by providing a perfect assist for his young teammate on the hour mark. It was his fifth Ligue 1 assist of the season, resulting in a very solid statistic for the French international.
Opta stat: "Jonathan Clauss has provided at least five assists in five different seasons since making his top-flight debut in 2020/21, a feat no other defender/wing-back in Europe's top five leagues can match over the same period. The Nice full-back has at least three more assists than any other defender/wing-back in the top five leagues since 2020/21 (43, compared to 40 for Trent Alexander-Arnold). "
Clauss arrived in Nice in the summer of 2024 and has scored four goals and provided 19 assists for Les Aiglons (in all competitions).
He has scored 17 goals and provided 43 assists in his 179 career Ligue 1 matches.
