Diallo signs for OGC Nice
OGC Nice is delighted to announce the signing of 20-year-old forward Zoumana Diallo. A product of the Racing Club de Strasbourg academy, he will join Le Gym’s Reserves squad this season.
A graduate of the Strasbourg youth academy, Zoumana Diallo made his professional debut in the last-16 of the Coupe de France with Racing last term. After several seasons in Alsace, the Franco-Malian that stands 1.85m tall, continues his career with OGC Nice where he will initially join up with the Rouge et Noir reserves squad.
“Zoumana has obvious physical qualities and isn’t afraid to work hard,” explained Florian Maurice, OGC Nice Sporting Director. “He is a central striker that loves making runs and he is a very interesting profile for us.”

In his youth career, he came through the ranks at Strasbourg, was loaned to Royal Excelsior Virton in Belgium and won the U17 European championship with France in 2022.
“I am very happy and proud to be signing for OGC Nice,” declared Zoumana Diallo. “Everything made me want to sign here, from the staff and directors to the training facilities that I visited. This is the perfect place for me to continue my progression.”

For Fabrice Bocquet, “his signature is an interesting opportunity, first and foremost for the reserves who we are really counting on this year. We will watch his progression very closely. Zoumana has all the qualities to impose himself under Julien (Youth Academy Director and reserves team coach) and reach his full potential.”
