2025-26

Technical and performance staff changes

These changes are aimed at reinforcing the club’s sporting organisation and having a fully operational staff for the return to training on 23 June.

TECHNICAL STAFF REMODELED

After the arrival of Cédric Varrault in Franck Haise's staff to replace Sébastien Squillaci, Le Gym also welcomes César Arghirudis to replace Alexandre Pasquini as assistant coach responsible for video.

With more than ten years experience in video analysis, César Arghirudis has already held key positions at AS Saint-Étienne and Stade Rennais. The holder of a BEF/UEFA A badge and a university degree in video analysis, he has previously led performance teams, using advanced technological tools to study the game. His methodical approach and abilty to break down opposition strategies will be a major asset.

PERFORMANCE TEAM ARRIVALS

Under Benoît Delaval, the new Performance Director replacing Laurent Bessière, there are some other new arrivals:

  • Manuel Lacroix takes on the role of fitness coach and will have responsibilties in the gym and in terms of injury prevention. With over 20 years experience, he was the France basketball team’s fitness coach and also worked with ASVEL. An expert in individual programmes and injury prevention, he is also known for his video analysis. His rigourous and tailored approach integrates an individualised development philosophy for each player.
  • Pierre Mastain steps in as nutritionist. Formerly deputy head of nutrition at LOSC, he is a graduate of the School of Human Diet and Nutrition (EDNH). He has led a number of workshops to raise awareness among young players, and propose a vision of nutrition as a motor of performance and recovery. He joins OGC Nice with whom he collaborated during his studies.

These arrivals mark a new chapter in the Club’s organisation and show a clear ambition: create the best conditions so that the team can perform to its maximum potential.
