Reims - Nice

Sanson "90% back", Youssouf unavailable

Francesco Farioli has reviewed the red-and-black squad ahead of Sunday's trip to Reims (3PM) as part of match day 28 of Ligue 1. Morgan Sanson, who suffered a calf injury at Lens, will be "90% back with the team", said the Aiglons coach.

Youssouf Ndayishimiye (quadriceps) "is unavailable", as is Valentin Rosier, who felt "some discomfort this week" and will stay out "as a precaution".

END OF THE SEASON FOR SOFIANE DIOP

Meanwhile, Francesco Farioli confirmed that Sofiane Diop's season was "over" (foot): "He had an operation. The operation went well. I saw him this morning. He's flying back to Nice this evening. After such a major operation, you need a long period of rehabilitation, which will start in the next few days. He will be working to maintain adequate physical and muscular condition. It will take time to get him back to 100% and that won't be before the end of the season."

OGC Nice wishes its number 10 a speedy recovery and will do everything in its power to support his return to the pitch.
