Ndayishimiye and Moffi nominated for the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé

Les Aiglons duo Youssouf Ndayishimiye and Terem Moffi are both in the running for this year’s Prix Marc-Vivien Foé, an award given to Ligue 1’s African player of the season.

Le Gym’s Burundian midfielder and Nigerian striker are on the award’s list of 11 nominees, alongside Marseille’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chancel Mbemba, Lille’s Nabil Bentaleb, Metz’s Lamine Camara, Reims’s Oumar Diakité, Rennes’s Amine Gouiri, Paris’s Achraf Hakimi, Nantes’s Moses Simon and Monaco’s Wilfried Singo.

The judging panel, meanwhile, consists of nearly 100 journalists specialising in French and African football and working across radio, TV and both print and online media.

The winner of the award is set to be revealed on Monday 13th May.
