The love affair between Didier Digard and Le Gym started on 8 January, 2010 when the midfielder signed from Middlesbrough. Thirteen years later, he's preparing to take charge of the first team as coach…we journey back through his Red-and-Black history.

16/01/2010: The former Paris Saint-Germain player pulled on the Nice shirt for the first time in a 1-0 defeat in Montpellier
30/01/2010: The midfielder scores his first goal for the club in a 3-2 derby defeat at Monaco
16/05/2015: Le Gym played host to Lens on Matchday 37 of the Ligue 1 season. Struggling in the table, Les Aiglons secured a 2-1 win thanks to a late goal from their captain at the Allianz Riviera
23/05/2015: The number 6 made his 165th appearance for the club in a 3-2 defeat of Toulouse
17/12/2017: Two-and-a-half years later, Didier Digard - alongside his children - is the Aiglon of honour for the home game with Bordeaux
03/12/2019: Didier Digard comes home and joins the youth academy as U17 assistant coach
04/12/2020: Assistant to Adrian Ursea, the former midfielder takes his place on the first-team bench for the first time at the Stade des Costières in Nîmes (2-0 win)
02/06/2021: Digard is named the reserve team's head coach. His squad finish the 2021/22 season fourth.
09/01/2023: After joining Lucien Favre's backroom team during the season, Didier Digard takes charge of the first team.
