Heartfelt condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

OGC Nice were saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8 September.

Lucien Favre, who offered his condolences to the club's English owners after the passing of a "lady whom they loved very much, and who left her mark on everyone in Europe, not just in England", during the press conference after the match between the Gym and FC Cologne (1-1 on Thursday), expressed his deepest sympathy to the entire INEOS family and, more broadly, to the entire British population.

On its social networks, the INEOS group said it was "deeply saddened on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen". "Our heartfelt condolences are with the Royal Family," the statement continued, highlighting Elizabeth II's "remarkable and inspiring life, dedicated to service", with an influence both in the UK "and abroad. She will be deeply missed."
