Christophe Moulin and Arjan Peço join the staff

Christophe Moulin and Arjan Peço have joined the technical staff of new coach Lucien Favre.

Christophe Moulin

A former defender who played professionally in Switzerland (Carouge, Delémont, Solothurn, Neuchâtel), Christophe Moulin also has a wealth of coaching experience. The 51-year-old joins from the Swiss Football Assocation "where he had an important role", according to coach Favre, as the Head of Élite Football and U20 head coach, as well as being part of the senior team's technical staff. He also worked for the FAI in the Republic of Ireland as U17 and U19 head coach as well as forming part of the coaching staff for the senior team.

He has also worked at numerous clubs: he was youth academy director and assistant coach at FC Sion, sporting director at Neuchâtel Xamax (where he also had a number of caretaker spells in charge of the first team), and was assistant coach at Espérance de Tunis, among others.

Christophe Moulin has known Lucien Favre for 30 years since they met at Xamax.

Arjan Peço

A former midfielder in the pro game, Arjan Peço (47 ans) was born in Tirana, and played in Albania and Switzerland. An Albania international, he played under Lucien Favre at Yverdon in the late '90s.

He started his coaching career in Switzrland, working at FC Basel (U14, U17, U18, U21) for a decade, as well as pursuing academic studies (mathematics, economics) and passing his coaching badges.  "A very good footballer and a loyal man" — according to Favre — who left Basel in 2020, and will get his first experience of French football with Le Gym.
