Eliminated in the playoffs of the World Cup 2022, the Algerians are now focusing on the CAN 2023. Two Eagles have been called for the two duels in June, against Uganda and Tanzania: Hicham Boudaoui and Billal Brahimi.

U21 Euro: Crucial qualifiers for thuram, Gouiri and Daniliuc

Group H leaders France have collected 19 points from their first seven matches, and for this last batch of qualifiers, which could see them clinch a place in Georgia and Romania (where the final phase of Euro U21 2023 will be held), Amine Gouiri and Khephren Thuram will face Serbia at home before traveling twice: to Yerevan to play against Armenia and then to Turkey for the last game against Ukraine.

Second in their group, three points behind Croatia, Flavius Daniliuc and his Austria U21 teammates have only one qualifier left to play, against Finland on Friday.

Boulhendi & BENAISSA at the Toulon tournament, Belahyane at the Mediterranean Games:

With the Algerian youth team, goalkeeper Teddy Boulhendi and midfielder Nassim Benaissa will play in the famous Maurice Revello Tournament. Called up to the France U18s, Reda Belahyane will take part in the Mediterranean Games in early summer.
