Stanley Nsoki joins Club Brugge

OGC Nice and Club Brugge have agreed terms for the transfer of Stanley Nsoki to the Belgian outfit. The defender, who joined Le Gym in the summer of 2019, quits the Côte d’Azur after making 44 appearances in Rouge et Noir.

After two seasons at OGC Nice where he made 35 Ligue 1 appearances, Stanley Nsoki, 22, is preparing for a first overseas adventure with Club Brugge.

Seventeen-time Belgian champions, including the last two seasons, Club Brugge are coached by Philippe Clement, and are qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the coming season.

A product of the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy, Stanley Nsoki landed on the Côte d’Azur at the end of August 2019. It was away to Rennes, where he provided an assist in a 2-1 victory, that he first made his mark in Rouge et Noir. A versatile defender, capable of playing in the middle or on the left side of the defence, the man hailing from Poissy made a total of 44 appearances for Le Gym including four in the UEFA Europa League.

OGC Nice thanks Stanley for his contribution over the past two seasons and wishes him every success for his future career.
