OGC Nice has decided to entrust the management of the first team to Claude Puel
OGC Nice announces the end of its collaboration with Franck Haise by mutual agreement. His assistants, Lilian Nalis and Johann Ramaré, are also leaving the club.
“In agreement with President Rivère and in view of the current sporting situation, we have chosen to bring my mandate as head coach of OGC Nice to an end, as well as those of my assistants Lilian Nalis and Johann Ramaré,” said Franck Haise. “I would like to thank everyone who works every day for the club and wish Le Gym, its supporters and its entire environment a swift return to a positive sporting dynamic.”

In a particularly difficult sporting context, OGC Nice has decided to entrust the management of the first team to Claude Puel until the end of the season. An experienced coach and a fine connoisseur of the club, Claude Puel returns to the Nice bench after his previous spell between 2012 and 2016. He begins today his priority mission of restoring the team’s performances.

In addition, Julien Sablé joins the technical staff as assistant coach, alongside Cédric Varrault (assistant coach) and Stéphane Cassard (goalkeeping coach).
Le Gym thanks Franck Haise, Lilian Nalis and Johann Ramaré for their commitment and the work accomplished in red and black, and wishes Claude Puel every success on his return to the Nice bench.
