Biography

Born in Seine-Saint-Denis, Cho spent his youth between France and England, enjoying spells at Paris Saint-Germain’s and Everton’s academies, before turning professional at Angers in May 2020.

Cho’s start to life in Ligue 1 certainly made an impression. The precocious young talent was given his top-flight debut aged 16 and would then go on to truly step into the limelight over the course of the following season, still as an Angers player, scoring four goals in 32 appearances. After taking the plunge in the summer of 2022 with a move abroad, to Real Sociedad, as well as coming face to face with top-level football, Cho has now returned to the French top flight by joining Nice in what is a new challenge for the France U21 international, whose ambitions already match those of his new club.

“I made a step up by playing in La Liga and European football, but even though everything has happened really quickly, my career is only just getting started,” reiterated Nice’s newest signing. “I want to show off my qualities, to keep improving and to establish myself, and I’m convinced that joining OGC Nice will allow me to do that.”
