Dante extends his contract!
Dante himself announced the good news on social media on Friday: the captain is extending his contract with OGC Nice!
Since arriving in August 2016, the Brazilian has made 160 appearances (6 goals, 7 assists) for the club before being stopped by an ACL rupture against Angers in early November.
His previous contract, which expired at the end of the 2020/21 season, has now been extended, just as the club had told the 37-year-old it would be before his injury.
'COME BACK EVEN STRONGER'
"We all know that here one's word is one's bond," said the former Bayern Munich man on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. "I confess it's my biggest Christmas present. I would like to thank all those who have shown their faith in me, and I promise to work very very hard to come back even stronger and wear our colours with a lot of pride."
