The Ligue 1 club presidents voted, on Tuesday at the LFP, Jean-Pierre Caillot (Stade de Reims) and Jean-Pierre Rivère respectively president and vice-president of the Ligue 1 College for the next four years.

A member of the LFP Board since 2016, the Nice chairman was first elected to the Ligue 1 College in September 2019. “It’s a good thing to be able to participate in the evolution of our football and that the club has its say in the directions taken,” explained Jean-Pierre Rivère. 

“During my first years at OGC Nice, I didn’t really want to be involved in the governing of the sport. I felt my priorities were first and foremost here in Nice. But this work in Paris is also very interesting. It’s also the desire of our owner to play our part in improving French football in general, obviously through OGC Nice, of course.”
