Two Aiglons nominated for Golden Boy 2021
Two OGC Nice players figure among the 100 nominees for this year's Golden Boy, an award that rewards the best U21 player playing in Europe: William Saliba and Khephren Thuram.
Arriving in January on loan from Arsenal, the former showed great solidity through the middle of Le Gym's defence during the 22 appearances he made, and even ended the season with his first L1 goal at Lyon (3-2).

A versatile midfielder, the latter played 33 matches in all competitions (two goals), with a particular highlight being his performance against OM (3-0 victory).

Published on Tuesday by the Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the list of 100 names will be reduced by 20 players each month, until the final selection of a shortlist of 20 players in October.
A group of journalists from various European outlets will then elect Erling Haaland's successor. It's worth noting that the player that receives most online votes will also will an award.
