Dan Ndoye joins Basel

OGC Nice and FC Basel agreed terms on Tuesday for the loan of 20-year-old forward Dan Ndoye with option to buy, automatically triggered after five appearances.

On this final day of the summer Mercato, Dan Ndoye joins FC Basel, who currently sit second in the Super League and are qualified for the inaugural season of the UEFA Europa Conference, and where he will join up with former Aiglon Andy Pelmard, whom he played with at Le Gym. 

A product of Lausanne, where he made his professional debut, the forward signed for Le Gym in the winter of 2020. However he remained on loan at Lausanne Sport, helping them to promotion at the end of the 2019-20 season before joining Les Rouge et Noir. 

A Switzerland U21 international, reserve squad member for the recent Euro and currently called up to the senior squad, Ndoye played 37 matches in Rouge et Noir (3 goals, 2 assists).
