OGC Nice and Boavista have reached agreement on the transfer of Yanis Hamache.

Born in Marseille in 1999, the left-footed 21-year-old came through the Gym's youth academy. He joined the first team squad for 2018 pre-season training, but was loaned to Red Star last season where he played 21 National division games and appeared twice in the Coupe de France and once in the Coupe de la Ligue. He even scored a Coupe de France goal against Le Gym.

Looking for playing time in order to continue his development, Hamache will now discover a new league, new club and new country. In Portugal, he'll play for Boavista, who faced Le Gym last pre-season.

Porto's second club finished the last Liga NOS campaign in 12th place.
