International break

The international schedule

The international break began after the first weekend of October. Whilst some of Les Aiglons return to training on Tuesday, many of them are joining up with their international sides. This is what awaits them.

DOLBERG, DENMARK 

Kasper Dolberg is joining up with the Danish national side. On the menu for the Vikings, a Euro 2020 qualifier against Switzerland on 12 October in Copenhagen.

The Danish will finish their international break with a friendly against Luxembourg (on 15 October in Aalborg).

ATAL, BOUDAOUI, ALGERIA

African Chamions in the summer, Les Fennecs are back in action with a series of friendlies. With Youcef Atal and Hicham Boudaoui, but without Adam Ounas, who has a knee injury, they will face the Democratic Republic of Congo (on 10 October in Algiers) and Colombia (on 15 October in Lille).

GANAGO, CAMEROON / SRARFI, TUNISIA

Previously used to playing for the youth international teams, Ignatius Ganago has now been called up to the Cameroon senior squad for the first time, where he will face Bassem Srarfi‘s Tunisia in Tunis in a friendly on 12 October.

COLY, SENEGAL 

Racine Coly is joining up with the Senegal squad this week. An excellent fixture is on the cards Les Lions de la Teranga, with a match against Brazil.

The match will take place on 10 October in Singapore. It’s worth noting that Neymar, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos, who will face Les Aiglons with PSG (kick-off on Friday 18 October at 8.45pm), feature in the Brazil squad, as well as Idrissa Gueye who will team up with Coly for in the Senegal contingent.

PELMARD, FRANCE U20s

After an excellent start to the season, Andy Pelmard is heading off to join up with the France U20s. The team managed by Bernard Diomède will face Norway (10 October) and Sweden (12 October). The two fixtures will take place in Marbella (Spain).

 

THURAM, GUESSAND, FRANCE U19s

Born in 2001, Khéprhen Thuram and Evann Guessand will meet up with the France U19s. On the fixture list, two friendlies, against England (9 October) and Belgium (11 October). Both of the encounters will take place in Marbella.

BEN SEGHIR, FRANCE U17s

Part of Le Gym’s U19s squad, Salim Ben Seghir has headed off to join up with the France U17s. Three matches, counting towards the qualifiers for Euro 2020, await Les Bleuets: against Gibraltar (22), Cyprus (le 25) and Slovakia (28). All three will take place in Cyprus.
