Andy Delort is an Aiglon!

OGC Nice and Montpellier HSC have agreed terms for the transfer of Andy Delort!

After Pablo Rosario, another club captain that has joined the ranks of Christophe Galtier’s squad: the Montpellier skipper since 2018, to be precise, in the form of Andy Delort. The new Aiglon made 106 appearances, scoring 47 goals and providing 21 assists, for our Ligue 1 rivals.

Powerful, mobile, tireless and excellent in the air, the 29-year-old Algeria international – African champion in 2019 alongside Youcef Atal and Hicham Boudaoui – has been causing headaches for defenders in the top flight for over a decade, since his debuts for AC Ajaccio.

Andy burst onto the scene with Tours in Ligue 2, before heading to Wigan as a young man, and also played for Nîmes, Metz, Caen, the Monterrey Tigers and Toulouse, before imposing himself at Montpellier, just near his home town of Sète.

Welcome Andy!
