Diagnosis confirmed for Reine-Adélaïde

The haunting image of his fall remains engraved in our minds. The sound of his pain, echoing in our ears. It shocked everyone in the stadium, as well as those watching at home, no matter which team you supported. And above all, it reminded everyone that a player’s health is more important than any result.

This Thursday, a day after the derby, the diagnosis was confirmed after further examinations: Jeff Reine-Adélaïde has suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee.

On Friday the player will travel to Lyon, where he underwent the same operation on his right knee in 2019, to meet the surgeon.

This injury is a huge blow for the player and Les Aiglons, but more than anything, a terrible test of the human spirit. OGC Nice will do everything possible to support JRA during this difficult period, safe in the knowledge that his mentality and professionalism will see the France U21 captain come back stronger than ever.
