Former player, coach and first team assistant: it's a man with excellent knowledge of the club that will now return to Les Rouge et Noir, a club at which he left excellent memories, both on a professional and human level. At 61 years old, Guy Mengual will bring his experience and his eye to Les Aiglons' reserves, who are managed by Didier Digard. Didier who played for him from 2012 until 2015, during three of the four seasons that he spent on the first team bench alongside Claude Puel (2012-2016).

After coming through the ranks at Metz and Monaco, the former forward played for Le Gym from 1983 until 1986 (62 matches, 15 goals).

After managing the AS Monaco Academy, he took charge of Le Gym's U18s, which became U19s, from 2007 until 2012. The highlight, of course, being the Coupe Gambardella win in 2012 just before he stepped up to the first team, with the Bosetti, Dao, Rougeaux, Maupay and Amavi generation.
