Ursea: "Saliba has a lot of personality"

What does Adrian Ursea think of William Saliba, the new Aiglons defender who has joined from Arsenal? The Gym coach described the most recent club recruit.

"He can bring a lot of things to us, defensively, and in terms of our game plan, and the way we play the ball out from the back. He can also be extremely valuable when it comes to set plays, an area in which we've suffered a lot, even if that's been less the case in recent matches, which might be down to what we've changed in terms of our organisation. Him arriving will lead to emulation in our defence. We have lost Dante, and we're still waiting for leaders to come through. William is a player who gives off a lot of personality."

A personality "who didn't wait years' to come through, emphasised the Rouge et Noir coach. "With what he showed before he went to England, honestly I don't take into account how old he is. Either the player is good, or not, and that is what interests me. It wasn't easy to impose himself in the Saint-Etienne defence, no matter his age."

"I have already faced him at youth level when I played at Lyon and he was at Saint-Etienne," explained Amine Gouiri to the press. "He has great qualities, he's very powerful, very physical. He's a very good defender who will do us good."
