Ganago transferred to Lens
At the training camp in Divonne, Ignatius Ganago said his farewells to the squad on Wednesday morning. The Cameroonian forward is leaving OGC Nice to join Lens. A deal fro the transfer has been agreed between Gym and Racing, who in August will make their return to the top division.
After joining the Aiglons academy in 2016 "Gana" made his first-team debut in the Champions League play-offs against Napoli. Quite a start. One month later, he found the back of the net for the 1st time at the age of 18 on a fireworks-filled derby night against Monaco (4-0) in September 2017. In three seasons, he took part in 62 matches (26 of them as a starter) and scored 7 goals. His final goal for the club was against Red Star in the Coupe de France, in January.
OGC Nice wish him all the best for the next step in his career.
