Red Star - Nice to be played at Allianz Riviera!

The Federal Commission of the Coupe de France has decided to reverse the Rd-32 tie between Red Star and OGC Nice, originally drawn to be played in Paris.

The match will now be played, in agreement with the two clubs, at Allianz Riviera on Saturday 18 January.

Red Star does not want to host OGC Nice anywhere but at the Stade Bauer and, given the structural limitations of the stadium* to welcome Les Aiglons and their supporters, reversing the fixture is the only viable option,” read an official statement from the five-time Coupe de France winners.

Kick-off will be at 13:00 and will be broadcast in France on Eurosport 2.

FREE ENTRY FOR GYM SEASON-TICKET HOLDERS

2019-20 season ticket holders receive free entry to home matches in te Coupe de France, up to and including the Rd-of-32, and will hence be given free entry to Allianz Riviera upon presentation of their season ticket, as was the case in the previous round against Fréjus St Raphaël. All other information concerning the ticket office for this match will soon be available on OGCNICE.COM.

* While a new stadium project is currently underway, on 2 January the Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine Town Hall approved a plan to renovate the Stade Bauer (3,000 capacity) to Ligue 2 standard should Red Star gain promotion. The majority of these renovations will be completed during the off-season, between mid-May and late June 2020.
