On Tuesday, Nice-Matin published an extended interview with Ricardo Pereira. The talented Portuguese spoke at length about his adventure on the Côte d'Azur (2015-2017). “I spent some great times in Nice, I played in nearly every game. It was essential for my career. I only gave good things to say about the club, the city, the people, the supporters… It will always stay in my heart.
Sold to Leicester last summer after a successful season with FC Porto, Ricardo was voted Player of the Year by the Foxes’ fans. Despite a busy year, the full back continues to follow the results of the Red and Blacks: “As soon as I can watch a match, I am in front of my TV (...) I am still in touch with Dante and Benitez.

The most memorable image from his time in Nice is without doubt his scorcher against PSG (30 April 2017, 3-1). “My family were in the stands, it was an incredible evening! And I even scored!
