And 100 for Saint-Maximin

On Sunday, Allan Saint-Maximin played his 100th match in L1 against Strasbourg (1-0) - his 54th in a red and black shirt. The Gym’s number 7 is the youngest current L1 player to achieve this feat, at just 21 years and 11 month.

The winger didn’t let this occasion fall by the wayside. Quite the contrary, he made the difference once again, picking up a third assist of the season, which Youcef Atal fully made the most of. The Aiglons’ joint best provider this season (with Myziane), the man from Châtenay-Malabry, who is also the top scorer in the squad (6 goals in L1), is showing more and more consistency.

Coming through the ranks at Saint-Etienne, then with Monaco and Bastia before joining the Gym*, Saint-Max’ has scored 12 goals and made 14 assists in L1.

*He also played 16 games in the Bundesliga with Hanover, during the 2015-16 season.
