Women’s World Cup

The World Cup has been launched!

With 100 days to go until the opening of the 2019 Women’s World Cup, a ceremony took place on Wednesday in Nice, one of the host cities of the competition.

At the foot of the MAMAC, where several pieces of entertainment were set-up, Sports Minister Roxana Maracineanu kicked off the penalty shootout with the projection of the official mascot displayed on the facade of the museum.

The former World Champion swimmer also received a nice souvenir of her visit to the capital of the Côte d’Azur, as Patrick Vieira presented her with an OGC Nice shirt.

The OGC Nice ladies teams were in attendance!
