Jean-Michaël Seri will be a Cottager next season. 

Arriving in the summer of 2015 from Paços de Ferreira (Portugal), the midfielder played in the Nice colours for three seasons. The metronome of the Nice midfield under the orders of Claude Puel and then Lucien Favre, “Mika“ played 122 games for the Gym (102 in Ligue 1, 13 in Europe, 5 in the Coupe de la Ligue and 2 in the Coupe de France). 

The Ivorian international made the most of the opportunity to score 12 goals and secured 23 assists. One of those will remain in everybody’s memory: his back heel which allowed the Gym to knock out  Ajax and to bring the Champions League hymn to the Allianz Riviera.

At 26 years old, and after playing a major part in getting the Gym back to the top of the league, Seri will discover a new championship.
