Laborde: 'We believe'

Gaëtan Laborde, who provided the decisive assist for Terem Moffi's acrobatic scissor kick just before half-time, spoke after Le Gym's draw in Basel in the first leg of the Conference League quarter-final (2-2): "Any regrets? Yes and no. We were up against a great team who were playing in front of their fans. We would have liked, of course, to have taken the lead with one or more goals but they hung on and we may have missed the chance to score that third goal. It's up to us to have a big game in the return leg and qualify."

Laborde, who was asked about a possible slackening in the second half, replied: "Maybe we fell into a false rhythm. We weren't having a bad game but they were effective in the second half on that occasion. We knew it was going to be a big game. They were spurred on by a great crowd. It's up to us to do the job when we get back in front of our fans. We believe and we have to do everything we can on the pitch to get through."
