Biography

Throughout his career, he has scored wherever he has gone. Gaëtan Laborde (28) is a reference in L1, where he has scored 59 goals in 202 matches. Trained at Bordeaux and having played for Red Star, Brest and Clermont, it was at Montpellier that the Mont-de-Marsan native took his career to the next level.
Between 2018 and 2021, in the company of a certain Andy Delort, he formed a complementary and conquering pair capable of destabilizing any defense in the country.
Gaëtan Laborde arrived from Stade Rennais, where he signed up in the summer of 2021, where he discovered Europe, played 47 games, provided 8 assists and scored 19 goals.
Ranked second by L'Aiglon in the 2022-23 season, the No. 24 was a success in his first season in Nice, during which he only went from strength to strength. Laborde was unfortunate at first, finding the net five times between September and January. But the striker's hard work, constantly pressing opposing defences and offering solutions to his team-mates, paid off in the end.
Nice's top scorer with 16 goals, the attacking midfielder scored 12 in 2023, and was voted Aiglon of the Month for March and April by Nice fans.
In his 2nd season with Nice, Laborde played 38 games and scored 6 goals (all competitions), before returning to the standards of his first Nice season in 2024-25.
Injured at the start of the season, Laborde was a delight under Franck Haise. He scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists in a campaign that ended with a brace against Brest (J34, 6-0). On January 17, 2025, he reached the 100-match milestone with Le Gym against Lille.
